Consultation is the starting point of most clinical interventions in pediatric care. At our clinic, we carry out accurate diagnosis and successfully follow standard protocol of treatment.
We identify the nature of an illness or any other problem by examination of the symptoms.
Our specialty lies in providing expert advice and counseling and following up with patients till complete treatment and pediatric care is provided.

Nebulisation

If you have certain breathing problems, like asthma, nebulization treatment or a breathing therapy is advised. A nebulization treatment involves the use of a nebuliser which is a medical device that converts a liquid medicine into a mist, so that it can be inhaled directly into the lungs or the air tubes.
We have the facility for treating breathing problems and other respiratory problems by means of nebulization.

Growth Monitoring

Every child needs to grow in a proper fashion in order to be healthy both physically and mentally. However, some children may have problems related to growth in terms of growth failure or some may face early puberty, both of which are not desirable.
These growth related problems can be diagnosed and intervention can be done early by means of growth charts. Keeping this in mind, pediatric care and growth monitoring is done for all children.

Vaccination

All vaccines recommended by IAP (Indian Academy of Pediatrics) and APP (American academy of Pediatrics) are available with us.
For vaccines to be viable and potent, the WHO recommends that the vaccines should be stored in ILR – ice lined refrigerators or else the potency may be questionable. Thus, our pediatician ensures that all our vaccines are stored strictly following the WHO protocol, in an ILR.

Dental Implants

The best replacement option for a missing tooth is accomplished by means of a dental implant. This is a much better option when compared to a bridge, as it is independent and does not take support from the neighbouring teeth.
The root portion of the tooth is replaced with a titanium screw. It is then placed into the bone and a crown is attached for the crown portion of the tooth.

Cosmetic Dentistry

A person’s smile can be enhanced in numerous ways. Minor to severe discolourations, broken, fractured and chipped teeth, spaces between teeth, croocked teeth and many other imperfections can be addressed.
These are addressed with various treatments like: lumineers, veneers, inlays, onlays, painless laser assisted tooth whitening, composite fillings, crown and bridges, laser assisted gum contouring and invisalign orthodontic correction.

Whiter, brighter teeth is what we all would like to show the world when we smile. It helps in boosting the self image and self confidence of an individual. Teeth whitening can be done in about 30 mins.
We have various systems like in office or take home types. Additionally, we also have laser assisted bleaching available.

Orthodontics

Braces or orthodontic treatment can be used to treat crooked teeth, to close the spaces between teeth, or can be used when the upper and lower teeth do not meet. The main objective is to realign teeth in a harmonious way which will lead to better esthetics and improved function. This can be achieved either with the regular fixed braces or the newer Invisalign system.
In the invisisalign system there is no wire or brackets fixed to the teeth and clear trays are given to a patient to achieve the same goals. This is much more comfortable and a highly advanced form of treatment. In the fixed variety we also have clear, ceramic, damon and lingual braces.

Pediatric Dentistry

Dentistry is for all ages groups and that includes children as well. Ensuring healthy teeth during childhood paves a path for healthy habits and healthy teeth through adulthood.
We focus on preventive dental care including fluoride application and pit and fissure sealants. We also do pediatric fillings, pediatric root canals, stainless steel and zirconia crowns for children. Habit breaking appliances and space maintainers are all part of our treatments.

Periodontal & Laser Therapy

The gums and the underlying bone need to be healthy in order to hold teeth in place. Tartar deposits around teeth cause inflammation of the gums and the surrounding tissues which can cause a lot of problems.
Presence of bacteria in these deposits are known to cause various health problems including heart attacks. Hence it is strongly advocated to clean your teeth once or twice a year. We do treatments varying from scaling, cleaning to flap surgery and bone grafts. We also do laser assisted periodontal treatment in our practice.

Lasers are not only used just in gum treatment, we also use it in the treatment of dark pigmented gums, aphthous ulcers, TMJ pain, bleaching teeth, crown lengthening and treatment of gummy smile, excision of growths and frenectomy. Lasers are extremely helpful as they are painless. There is no bleeding and hence no need for stitches.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment is required when a tooth has a very deep cavity and is painful, or the tooth was injured during a traumatic accident or the gum problem has finally led to an infection of the tooth. It aims at removal of the infected tissues followed by cleaning and shaping of the canals.
We use lasers to help in the disinfection of the canals. The tooth is then filled and sealed with an inert material. This may be completed in a single sitting or multiple sitting as is case dependent.

Surgical Extractions

Most teeth can be extracted by simple means. However a few teeth like the impacted teeth need the bone surrounding the tooth to be removed which will facilitate easy and comfortable means of removing the tooth without damaging the vital structures.
Teeth with extreme curvatures, impacted canine & wisdom teeth, and other challenging situations are best removed by surgical means.

Crowns, Bridges & Veneers

A tooth lost due to extensive decay can be restored by means of a crown. Single or multiple missing teeth can be replaced and restored to function by means of a bridge. Here the support is sought from the neighbouring teeth by trimming them and a bridge consisting of the missing teeth is placed over the supporting teeth.
Crowns and bridges can be made of emax, zirconia and porcelain fused to metal.
To smile with confidence is what most people desire. Simple imperfections like chipped, fractured, uneven, discolored, improper spacing between teeth, can all be addressed by means of veneers. Veneers can be of 2 types:
No prep veneers – These are as thin as contact lenses and the teeth are not trimmed to receive them
Traditional veneers – Here a small layer of enamel is removed to accommodate the space for a layer of ceramic, which is then bonded firmly onto the surface of the tooth.
With the help of veneers we can play with the shape, size, colour and improve the final appearance of the teeth.
